I like it...

No idea why the low rating, this app is super easy to use, and great for those who hate the "calorie" mentality. I like to get in 8-10 servings of fruits & veggies everyday, so I made my own custom plan & its great for keeping track! Id recommend it! :) Love that you can count your water glasses in the same app too... :)

Love it but....

This is a great simple App, and it works for me trying not to count calories but to ensure Im eating healthy. Also glad I could customize my plan. But Id love to see two modifications. Once my day is over I can not back track and edit previous days. Id love to be able to update it on my schedule. Also for something like the counter for sweets and fats there is no consideration if youve gone over your daily allowable servings. Id like to be able to see some charts over time that show how often Ive met my healthy guidelines and also how often Ive slipped and eaten too much sugar or fat. So this is a good app for now that meets my basic needs, but i think you could go much further with it. Cant wait to see a new version!

I have to say after purchasing this app I am very disappointed, I found it very limited in scope and the symbols leave a lot to be desired. If there was a money back guarantee I would be applying. I will be generous and give it a rating of 1.

Had a lot of problems with first version, but latest runs solid. Its simple to use and helps me keep track of how much i eat each day.

WOW this is terrible, I want my $1.99 back. DO NOT BUY THIS! its a checklist with serving sizes...thats it.

Eat Right OK

Nothing fancy about this app, but its simplicity is the best thing about it. It is ideal for tracking your daily progress against the USDA or Canada Food Guide;however, its major deficiency is the lack of any history other than telling you the last date you hit 100% of your target.

Great for those of us on the 17 day diet

If you are on the 17 day diet you can set up a custom plan and always know what you can eat on any given day. The best part is that as soon as you have eaten something you check it off and its a brilliant visual reminder of whats left to eat. This is a great, very simple, app. Kudos to the developer.

Perfect in its Simplicity

This app is perfect for someone who wants to improve their eating and even lose weight but get bogged down counting calories or logging individual foods. If you want a high tech app that will count every vitamin, mineral, calorie - this isnt for you.... but it doesnt mean that this is a bad application. Some of these reviews are people rating this application on features it isnt even meant to have. That said - I would like to see more detailed/extensive pyramid guidance and possibly the ability to chart and receive averages (even without that though - this application fits the bill for me!).

WHY ON EARTH does this not have all five stars lit up and flashing?!! This thing is amazing. Precisely designed as I would have done myself. Tremendous little app. Cant thank you enough!! And live the cute default pictures! Except check marks need to be other than green, so they show up better. Also, more of a color contrast between the little wheat stalks and the chicken! : ) A PERFECT app. Period.

Ok but...

Why cant I check off sweets/fats as eaten for the day? I should be able to check off a piece of candy so I remember not to eat any more that day!

Just a checklist

This is nothing more than a food pyramid checklist. No real information. If all you want to do is quickly keep track of types of foods you have eaten for the day, then this app is for you. If you want more in depth information with regards to food groups and nutrition then DO NOT get this app. I find it useful since all I want to do is keep track of my food pyramid. So for the reason I got it I give it 3/5. Although its a good app it should be around the .99 price range or even Free.

Good, simple app

Quick, on-the-go way to track food categories for the day. I customized the app to fit my plans daily allowances. Id like to have an option to add other custom categories with generic color icons. Id use it to vitamins, off-plan foods, exercise.

An absolutely perfect app! Just what I needed. I know portion sizes, I just wanted a simple graphic tracker that didnt require slow and frustrating food searches. This app fits the bill. Im so excited! The only option I would like is to be able to fit all the icons on one screen! Love this!

Best app for healthy eating

Who wouldnt love this app if they are serious about eating healthy? This is perfect! It helps me eat the right amount of servings without counting and tracking every calorie. If possible itd be great to track weight. Great app!!!
